    Necronomicon - evil mage spellbook
    [no, not "The" Necronomicon – translator’s note :P]

  • price:

    228
    £ ask
    $ ask

  • Big, dark, gloomy and expensive ;> Such are the books of evil mages. The term "Necronomicon" is only a proposal, it is just common practice to call a book with a cover containing the image of human skull ‘Necronomicon.’ [First heard of such thing, actually. Necronomicon is a fictional book invented by H.P. Lovecraft – and it does not have a human face, or skull, on the cover. At least it’s never mentioned – maybe it’s too scary? ;) And I know what I’m telling – having written an MA thesis on Lovecraft. ;) – translator’s note]

    I do not know the contents of the book, the pages are blank as yet. And as for the pages – they are thick and concrete handmade paper. They are entirely replaceable – this is ensured by the way they are fastened, resembling the one used in file binders. The covers are hard, modelled out of leather with solid reinforcement.

    The book can be used to parry the strikes of swords and smaller warhammers – the protective surface is not that small, after all ;> (I mean, of course, the safe foam swords)

    Forming the withered face was one of the most difficult things I had to do (see production report). Also the teeth, entirely of leather and made to look yellowish with caries, weren’t easy to form. Two runic bookmarks are fastened at the back of the tome to make finding blasphemous spells easier than it has ever been before. ;)

    Those eager ones who want to see making proces I invite to"Ideas" part.

    The Tome of Chaos Mage
  • price:

    $ ask

  • Mommy, mommy, look! The Carollers are coming, and they have a songbook! With the star of Bethlehem!

    No, sonny boy, this is no star of Bethlehem, not really. It’s the symbol of the four Gods of Chaos, from within the world of Warhammer – but those in the know already know that, do they not? The tome, like the previous one on offer, is a kind of ‘file binder,’ with replaceable pages. The symbols of Chaos were cut in leather by hand – and this is very difficult and time-consuming. So this time the product is all but cheap, sorry folks.

    Book is suported with fully stylized sheets of paper.

  • A very juicy scroll tube, much better than the one below. The reinforcement, made of almost 0.5 centimetre thick cardboard, makes it a really rigid thing. The leather covering, with the hard spiral elements – they are difficult to make but exceptional.

    The hinged closing flap does not have any mechanism for locking the tube, it simply fits tight. The tube can be locked by tying the flap with a leather strap. The finishing details of the tube, as a part of the whole set, also bear the Mark of Chaos, so to speak. ;)

  • This belt is not only a belt – it constitutes a major element of the whole set. It has pouches resting at the hips, decorative elements at the height of the crotch and numerous rings for attaching small weapons, charms and talismans, purses etc. The belt is adjustable in 3 places.

    The front of the belt has two hooks for symmetrical adjustment (so that the middle remains in the middle) and an additional simple fastening at the back, making it possible to further broaden the belt – should you play a Norse mage (clad in a thick fur jacket).

    The scroll tube is not a part of the belt.

    Chaos Mage Canteen
  • price:

    £ ask
    $ ask

  • I can make a very decorative canteen, or a water flask, with the use of a ready-made basis. This one is just a decorated canteen made of aluminum (must have been an old one – it was a little bit chipped in one place). The final effect, the canteen with the decorations, is shown in the pictures. The cover covers almost the whole of the canteen yet it is simple and easy to remove completely (it is laced at the back), should the user want to boil or clean the canteen. The view of the symbol in the centre is not obstructed by the fastening by which the canteen is attached to a belt.

    This thing is just beautiful, you can carry both hot soup or ice-cool vodka in it. Preferably not at the same time, though. ;) Neither the alcohol nor the temperature could damage the aluminum canteen – and you should see what those could do to canteens made of leather, with the use of wax. Yyyyh.

  • A very desired and, at the same time, unknown product. There are certain facts about such type of sheath which deserve some clarification. It should be noticed that there is no way of carrying a long sword at the back comfortably – there will always be some inconvenience in drawing the weapon from behind and sheathing it back afterwards.

    My version is an elite one, both because of its appearance and the possibility of various settings and adjustments. This still does not mean that it allows to draw the sword quickly and flawlessly in a crisis situation.

    OK, let’s be honest, folks – long sword carried at the back is just fantasy stuff ;P See the gallery to read some further details.

  • Not that I am trying to make the best out of the release of the Polish cRPG which, anyway, took place a long time ago – the idea of this armour piece was in my ‘workshop’ for long. Anyways, witches abound everywhere now – in games, movies, books.

    There are as many costume designers as there are their authors and creators. To each man his little witcher, so to speak. ;) This is why I did not even make an attempt to consult some source for this project – I just designed a version of my own ;P

Adjustable, of course, A guard/sack for the precious tool of Bard’s lecherousity, The between-the-legs-pro(creator)tector is a very important part of the set. ;)

    And so Farmer made this piece of armour out of rubbish and scraps that have been under his table (But hush, don’t tell the orc!) from time immemorial. He used hardened plates. Farmer took the new task before him seriously, [try not to take a task given by an orc seriously and see what happens – translator’s note]. He took the ugliest buckle he had, cut a plate out of cow’s elbow. He made a cap out of slightly better leather, so that the orc could walk tall and carry the sign of his tribe with him at all times. He also attached trophies to the belt, for tusks of a boar (they are real, really real! [I hope the boar does not miss them too much – translator’s note]. Farmer knew that among orcs items often change owners – he made the belt adjustable by adding holes for leather straps at the side of the belt.

  • The whole effect and charm of those is in their colour. The paint has been placed by hand, some tricks were used to ensure fluent passing of one colour into another. The patterns were engraved in great haste, jut to place them there. Sometimes they were engraved with a special knife (the nicer ones). The technology I used allows me to copy the patterns without limits. It is therefore possible to make a whole set of bracers, shinguards or a whole armour set in the style (they would be cheaper if in one colour only).

    Dunedains Bracers - for Ranger
  • price: -pair

    $ ask

  • Forearm guards for a dunedain scout, very practical and non-decorative. The throwing knives that can be used in the set can basically be of two qualities. The ones in the pictures are slightly less durable, are an effect of mass production and are not fit for throwing at anything. Throwing knives of higher quality can be added, produced by a blacksmith. Their price will, of course, make the price of the braces higher.

    The trimmings are attached in a very special way, so that they would not wear out as little of their own accord as possible and that the sews would be protected from the outside. These measures ensure that the piece of armour is extremely durable.

    Legolas Vambraces - Lord of The Rings
  • price:

    £ ask
    $ ask

  • As the name suggests – they are his. But they can be yours, if you buy them. It’s as simple as this. Fans/fanatics of the LotR will notice that I spared no effort during the production and made this piece of armour look in every detail as those that Orlando ‘The Divine One’ Bloom starred in. ;P

    Materials I gathered from the Internet, pictures from the movie and some other reproductions served me as the basis for this project. The original piece of armour was fastened, I think, by means of hooks and rubber elements. In my version I tried to hide all the "modern & unfitting" elements under the main flaps of the bracers. I used snap fasteners They have one major disadvantage, as they do not allow size adjustments, but at least they fit in well with the remaining elements of the piece.

    Deep carvings are visible even from afar. Leather engraving is quite an expensive technique of decoration – hence the bracers as a whole are quite expensive.

    Dwarf Bracers

  • The dwarves nowadays are small, thin and feeble in comparison to those that lived in the glorious days of the past. What follows from this fact is that modern weak dwarves need armour that would make them look bigger (or, broader, rather…) and stronger. Hence the thickness and breadth of this piece, their trimmings are as thick as a sausage (well, maybe not exactly so, but definitely as thick as thin smoked sausage :P). The piece would significantly increase the dwarvishness of any dwarf!

    The procedure is as follows: you buy an old/new canteen, made of plastic, aluminum or rustproof steel (the one in the picture is made of aluminum second one from plastic) and I make you a nice cover for this, out of necessity already existing, waterproof canteen. The range of prices is vast. The canteen in the picture costs around 15euro to even 55euro, plus the cost of the canteen (and these are not very expensive up to 5euro).

    This is the way to attract attention to your costume in a relatively cheap way.
